How to sign and verify messages

  1. Sign in

    Open your web browser and navigate to wallet.trezor.io Connect your Trezor device with your computer and sign in.

  2. Type de cryptomonnaies

    Select the relevant type of cryptocurrency, on the top left corner of the Trezor wallet interface.

  3. ‘Sign & Verify’

    Click on the ‘Sign & Verify’ tab in the main navigation menu, in the top right corner of the screen.

  4. Message

    Copy and paste the signed message in the ‘Message’ input field.

    Copy and paste the relevant crypto address in the ‘Address’ input field.

    Copy and paste the signature in the ‘Signature’ input field.

    Click on the green button ‘Verify’ in the bottom right corner.

  5. Vérifiez

    Verify that the crypto address is the same as the address displayed on the screen of your Trezor device. If this is the case, confirm the address on your Trezor device.

    Once the address confirmed, the message will appear on the screen of your Trezor device. Verify that the message that appears on your Trezor is the same as the message you inserted in the ‘Message’ input field. If this is the case, confirm the message on your Trezor device. If all goes well, ‘Message Verified’ will be displayed on your computer screen.

    Congratulations. You have successfully verified the message.
